For everyone else assuming Costco rice is low quality, they offer multiple options. Costco’s basmati rice is excellent quality and can be ordered online 20lb for $27 delivered. So that’s only about double the unit price for top end, premium

My very limited understanding of retail real estate in the US is that leasing agreements in shopping centers and malls typically include a percentage of sales.

The entire field of economics demonstrates the opposite. The result of tariffs will be fewer and worse jobs in the US, with everyone's standard of living going down.

I think the missing context here is what is meant by “fix the licensing”. Both the original project and this new one are MIT, so naively there doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Just out of curiosity: if the original project was open source, why did you decide to restart from scratch?

Try a Uni-Ball Jetsream, especially the capped version. It’s a ballpoint, with all of the advantages, that writes smoother than any gel. There is a bit of a learning curve as it glides so freely across paper.

Of course it is. It's just a form of compression. If I train an autoencoder on an image, and distribute the weights, that would obviously be the same as distributing the content. Just because the content is commingled with lots of othe

For your first case, why not use the “?” operator to trigger an LLM response, or use Kagi Assistant (which gives you access to pretty much all the different models you might want to use)?

I have a similar level of experience with Go, and I would go so far as to say it is in fact one of the best features of the language. I wouldn’t be surprised that when the pro-exception-handling crowd eventually wins, it will lead to hard f

IMHO, the actual problem with go error handling isn’t the error handling at all — it’s that multiple return values aren’t a first class construct. With proper tuple handling and Go’s approach to generics, a lot of these issues would just di
