Agreed, as an midwestern American. Hearing "Georgian", I would think of the country, then the Georgian era (especially regarding architecture) and only then the state.

Does Google even use Python 3? I thought they were moving things from Python 2 to Go. (And Chromium build and debug scripts still use Python 2 AFAIK.)

I agree with that! But I'm not a developer. I'm doing hardware repairs, and this machine is to read ticket notes and enter repair info and send emails (and play my music :-).

M1 Macs don't have Internet Recovery. You need to use another Mac with Apple Configurator 2 to restore the firmware using DFU mode, which unlike with T2 Intel Macs, includes the whole OS.

It's not that bad … for what I'm doing, and I can do something else when the computer stalls. I've thought about an external TBT SSD, but doesn't seem worth it yet.

Tell that to my work iMac with a HDD (not my choice) and a new enough OS to require APFS. The only programs I typically have open are Chrome and a music player, and it freezes randomly, and Chrome is constantly waiting on cache.

I like it! It needs more display options, like line-height, and margin size. I also accidentally scrolled with my touchpad and was moved to the very beginning, then very end when I reversed course (Chromium on Linux FWIW).
