I used it a lot, both for the list and just the Readability-like feature until browsers added their own reading mode/reading list functionality. (First proposed by Mozilla, first implemented in Safari — like the download widget ;-) — a

I remember my family's pre-PPC Mac could play MP 2 , but not MP3.

My thought has been more like, "I guess I've never really understood the need for ePub when HTML is now a standard." … which is exactly what this announcement is about.

Sure, old versions. Do they still open files from the latest version 100℅? (Honest question.) For Mac at least, every yearly upgrade could mean they don't work anymore. Windows is a bit safer.

For Adobe, 'cloud' = 'subscription'. The apps are desktop versions, but they can't be "fully paid for".

It's the right way for me, conditioned by Tetris for Mac ('90s black and white game) and whatever version I had on my TI-83 calculator. Edit: Just as importantly, at least on a touchscreen, the arrows are on the right and drop is

I agree. There's a lot that makes me prefer Firefox that's not extensions.

It's not solved when any PPA I add can replace any system package simply by using a higher version number.

Opera Mini, the app, is not rendering HTML as you say. They don't block VNC or RDP apps even though you can run a remote browser through them.

There's a Gnome Shell extension that people report works on Fedora 25 with Wayland: https://github.com/benzea/gnome-shell-extension-redshift

They (Verizon, Sprint) already have, but they still use CDMA in outlying areas and for voice service. (Verizon, especially, is known for having the best rural service, at least in the rural areas near where I live.) Verizon does use SIM car

I should try it again. I mostly use (Ubuntu) MATE, and GNOME 3 before that, but the scaling settings was my favorite feature in Unity.

I believe that setting adjusts the same two scale factors mentioned above — integers for GTK+ and decimal font scaling — plus fractional scaling for the Compiz window decorations and the new QML Ubuntu toolkit apps.

I feel projects like this should say e.g. "…via QtWebKit", since "WebKit" is more of a family of web engines. It's even more important in the case of QtWebKit since it's not being updated.

Thanks for the tips. Clueless noob here . . . most guides I've seen use bs=1M for writing e.g. a Linux installer to a USB drive. Does 1 MB vs 2 MB change anything?

Not this time with the Kaby Lake XPS 13 — they were available immediately. I think it helped that the hardware is exactly the same, since all versions have a Killer (Qualcomm) wifi card rather than "Dell" (= Broadcom) for Windows

In MATE Terminal, and I think GNOME Terminal, you can chance the keybindings to remove the shift — and if you do this, you can send ^C with shift-control-c.

The XPS 13 with USB-C (current and previous generations) at least can charge via USB-C, so you can ignore the Dell adapter if you wanted.
