I was just trying Xubuntu. There's a setting to switch to 2x scale. Didn't seem to affect It apps. The window decorations stayed small, but there's a theme with larger ones. The cursor stayed small but can be adjusted.

It looks like the new Air has a 7 W chip, more like an active-cooled MacBook, while the non-TB Pro has a 15 W chip like the old Air. Only the TB MacBook Pro 13-inch has a 28 W chip. But I know how to and what to look up. For most people: su

What version of Ubuntu? Libinput, the new touchpad driver, has had major improvements recently, but you only get the new version if you upgrade the system version.

I heavily use both Firefox and RSS — with FeedHQ — but I've never used any of Firefox's RSS features (except the feed preview, but only incidentally, and it's nothing I'll miss.)

I don't love the new keyboard, but keycaps are still replaceable as long as the scissor mechanism is OK. (Previously the scissor could be replaced, too.)

I use FastMail at home, but we have G Suite at work. The worst is when opening a new message from a mailto: href, I used to be able to start typing as soon the text box appeared. Now I often end up sending a (nearly?) blank message, which I

I have no numbers, but it's not my experience in Minneapolis, where I see more people riding, at least some of the time. (And most don't ride all year here, although winter bike commuting is also more popular in my experience.) Th
