I weighed 320 pounds when I cut out carbs. I lost approximately 5 pounds a week until I got down to 275 at which point I couldn't stand it any more and pigged out on donuts.

I've had two erroneous charges on my debit card and Bank of America refunded my money before they started an investigation. It had a minimal impact on my day. Of course this is anecdotal evidence so take it with a grain of salt.

I wonder how much of this is FUD given the fact banks don't make as much money off of debit card purchases.

I wish our founding fathers had inserted a sunset clause into the constitution that would require each new congress to read every previously passed bill and re-vote on them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunset_clause

1) I assume that by using "We" you mean you and I and a few others because it's painfully clear to me that approximately 90% of the browser using world could care less. 2) Is using force the only way to accomplish the goal of open standards

All the arguments that are used against IE can also be applied to Notepad, Outlook express, Calc and a 100 other pre-installed programs. I don't understand why IE is singled out as special.

Every company I've worked for has lied either outright or by stretching the truth further than I'm comfortable with. It isn't right but that is the real ethics he will be dealing with in the US/Canadian/Anglo arena.
