Kudos to the author on producing an excellent, comprehensive yet readable, post (based on my initial very brief review)! Much appreciated. One thing that jumped at me, though, is the recommendation for the "I want to try deep learning

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I'm planning to allow running third-party apps on the platform (the exact delivery options and relevant architectural details are still under consideration). My understanding is that using JWTs is the c

Would you think that, for an early-stage SaaS startup (enterprise B2B focus), the optimal strategy for implementing AuthN/AuthZ would be to use a managed service (e.g., Auth0) for MVP development and after that (perhaps, during pilot

While the author makes some valid points, I disagree with the general stance of the post (and, more broadly, quite dislike most generalizations like that). Obviously, no decent hiring manager in their right mind will base their decision pur

Snap can be disabled in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. See the following blog post: https://www.kevin-custer.com/blog/disabling-snaps-in-ubuntu-... (discovered this before seeing relevant comment by @guiambros on the 2nd page :-).

Replying to myself. Still not sure about the form factor, but, unfortunately, it looks like the RTX 30 Series cards - well, at least, RTX 3090 - have a different socket interface when compared to 2080 Ti (12 pins versus 8+6 pins).

Very cool. I'm wondering about whether RTX 30 Series cards are compatible (interfaces, form factor, etc.) with Quadro RTX 8000. Thoughts?

There is no such thing as SaaS business/revenue model. SaaS is a software-based product delivery model . What the author of the linked post had in mind is subscription business/revenue model . Such confusion in terminology stems

Thank you for clarification. Point taken. Nevertheless, I still stand by my opinion, as multi-tenancy is a fundamental SaaS feature for overwhelming majority of deployment scenarios, both B2B and B2B (where multi-tenant B2B SaaS includes mo

In theory, you're right. However, in practice, SaaS pretty much always implies multi-tenancy. Why would one want to host software for someone else who is a single entity?

A promise to keep a project up-to-date does not imply a promise to add a significant feature, such as multi-tenancy support (assuming that it's missing, that is). Re: price - $99 is pre-order price; by "regular" I referred to

You're welcome. If your boilerplate application allows serving totally independent customers / organizations (not different teams of the same organization!), then, your project is, indeed, multi-tenant and SaaS-compatible. If so,

I would not consider this project a proper SaaS boilerplate. It is a Web application boilerplate and maybe a good one, but not SaaS. SaaS implies multi-tenancy and your project does not seem to offer support for that. Irrespective to that

Interesting post. However, I believe that most content, and especially broad technical one like this, absolutely needs a balanced amount of relevant visual elements (e.g., images, diagrams). If you want it to be readable, that is.
