I'm an old fart who was around for the dot com days. Huge red flag the minute leadership shifts from growth to profitability. Usually a good time to update your CV.

True but my nephew is a gamer and has his online crew as well. So there's a guy who I know to random genetics. Here's this survey as well: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1235068/online-gaming-so...

Most of my gamer friends, game with real people. Not sure if there are statistics on this or not. For what it's worth this is a correlation study and not causal. I'm sure there are some loners out there that are very happy, but wh

Bixby and the Samsung crap are the reasons I'll never buy a Samsung phone. The only redeeming thing is that they're not made in China.

I think many starts ups are "rich people" self funding (or are parental funded). For instance Microsoft and Bill Gate's and Paul Allen's helped them out a lot. Ditto with Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk's Tesla & Spa

After you see the four agreements make sense to me, you may not need the mystic nature of the book.

You're right most people are wrong but don't know how wrong they are. It took me 30 years to learn how frequently I am wrong. Just do The Four Agreements from the eponymous book (the book's not worth the read IMO) 1. Be Impec

What % of Apple's revenue is on phone repair? How less frequent would people upgrade their phones? This is about Steve Job's obsessive need to control everything and no-one at Apple wants to challenge a dead prophet.

I definitely believe in second chances and fortunately Bill deleted this tweet. If you're a hiring manager, how much of a risk would you take? How much better would he need to be than the average candidate?

The last thing you want from when a future employer tries to google your name is to have this come up. There are only a handful of people I'd put my neck-on-the-line to bring into my company after something like this.

It would depend on tests. Antidepressants work in different ways. If your body is not producing enough serotonin, you'd want drug class x. Or Dopamine a completely different class of drugs.

I agree with your comment about the wrong conclusion. Google didn't have a monetization plan, it launched in 1998 and didn't do adwords(ads) until 2000. It's always better to have positive cashflow, however, enough capital le

Airports can stop these flights but it's not in their financial interests to do so. Seems like Airports could just fine the airlines for unused slots. If the fine is less than cost of the flights everyone would win.
