presumably, the rate of male v male harassment accusations is very low (at least relatively), and as such doesn't much play into risk aversion.

i suppose it depends on there being a similar circumstance. if accusations of interpersonal 'racial harassment' became more regular, you would probably see a shift in behavior with some people going out of their way to avoid

generally, asking "why am i paying for X if it doesn't..." is effectively saying "the value proposition seems poor to me". it's colloquial and generally rhetorical (or semi-rhetorical).

if you read your link, even the wikipedia article authors do not restrict the notion to hard realtime computing. it's not really how "everyone" uses it. it's a narrowing that a subset of vocal people have been trying to

this is a narrow and arbitrary definition of "systems programming". you seem to be describing something closer to hard realtime computing, which is not the same thing.

i don't think it does. as the gp said, nobody is forcing you to use something with square wheels. the problem isn't electron, or electron developers. it's much larger than that.
