Thanks for your kind words. Would you be able to expand on what you mean by “report generation libraries”? For example, I am building (in Common Lisp, but it’s trivial and can be done in any software) a tool to read content from a database

Thank you! Paged.js is really such an awesome tool. I was searching for many weeks for something like this, so I really think the word needs to get out there more. It could significantly improve the workflows of many people who are self wri

I agree. In fact it’s much worse because of the fee structure and lack of disclosure / transparency. Surprised the SEC haven’t jumped in on it as it’s blatantly aimed at avoiding the IPO regulatory process

One of the biggest scams I can see currently - hide the terms behind financial instruments, but take a 20 to 25% fee for making an investment!! When the usual fees are 1.5% plus a performance fee I really don’t understand why the SEC allows

Either that or building a lisp parser in rust I kid, I kid - these projects are all good because they are simple and can be achieved by “hackers”, using the original meaning of the term as curious programmers Unfortunately the big projects

Not sure about this - I don’t think government leaders or anybody should be censored. Better to have public health messages as part of the platform than to censor It’s a fine line between hate and misinformation and dissent (Clearly the con

Nice! Will check it out - I was trying to build a electron word processor app that would use html and then convert to pdf, maybe I will start it again with this. Can this handle svg or JavaScript libraries like Charts.js? I’ll check the det

Thanks!! This looks super interesting. I couldn’t find any decent solutions except princexml but I will give this a whirl The fact that they are achieving it via poly fill sounds like a genius approach!

Yes it’s a very difficult balancing act, (I assume CAC means Customer Acquisition Cost) and there are a lot of overheads they need to cover. Figuring what the right price is to be competitive but also cover all marketing and other costs is
