Seeing an opportunity to play with metaphones, I generated a homophone-free dictionary. You're welcome to plug it in if you decide to tinker with the project any more. http://qwerjk.com/unique.txt

Less magic. Ubuntu is a complex system, and hard for a beginner to learn and customize. However, there's no need to switch while you're happy with Ubuntu.

Last week, I posted something similar to proggit using the youtube redirect exploit. During its three-hour run, nearly 6000 people (20%) tried to give me their google account credentials. http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/bpy7h/

Yes. The article was full of this. > All workers must trim their fingernails so as not to impede production. > Workers are strictly prohibited from entering any work area other than their own. > Workers describe factory food as

This must depend on the application. On most sites requiring a name feild, I just type gibberish. I'd much rather be greeted by my username.

In the video, Daniel makes the argument that extrinsic motivators harm productivity, based on the candle experiment. However, in this experiment, the reward caused short-term mental stress. I'm not sure that long-term monetary rewards would

On proggit, we just found that even techical, internet savvy users can be suckered in by this. http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/bpy7h/think_you... 1 in 5 attempted to sign in. The results are hardly scientific, but the comment

It seems watermarking with a patern of dots is already popular, but embeding the watermark in a color histogram might be much less distracting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAP_code

A few highlights not mentioned on the front page: * render latex fragments inline (thanks to auctex) * embed & run code (python, ruby, haskell, R, etc) * text-mode spreadsheet (including cell functions) * render ascii-art drawings to pn

I've been using zsh with my old 300 line bashrc for several months now. If you haven't already, try copying your .profile to .zshrc (just to see if it works); only your login shell reads your .profile.

You are also free to interchange rows and columns. This should reduce the number of possible grids by a factor of (17!)^2, leaving 3.25e143 colorings.
