Yes, but "hassle" and "security" are synonymous a lot of the time. even if their policy was that they didn't use the boot drive, I'd rather wipe it. No reason to give someone your data, your employers' dat

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes weird, but the fact remains that with a bit of thought I can design a piece of furniture, and then with parametric measurement make small tweaks at the end so I can easily work off the materials that I have. E.g I c

As a consultant, I have to say that this is true of our industry as well. Our company has always been full remote due to the "on site" nature of our work. Given that, it has always been a pain point to spend time mentoring and tra

I think you can have that. you can buy a robot arm, hook the servos or steppers to LinuxCNC, and control it directly through there. If you do this, look for an arm made with Harmonic drives for the best control.

If you use harmonic gear boxes and reasonably nice servos you could build this arm with a moderate quality machine shop to support the weight of the print head. I'd say that glued on aluminum lugs and precast CF tubes would get you pre

OOC, since you know what these tanks are made out of, what is the duty cycle/lifespan of those tanks? I was presented some info on Kevlar tanks for drones using fuel cells and remember thinking that the lifespan was very short.
