There's a lot and hate of criticism of PHP out there, so some praise and sane opinions are nice to balance it out.

Your comment articulates my thoughts on PHP very succinctly. Especially the culture fit bit. PHP is so insanely pragmatic that if someone looks down on it due to false preconceived notions then they're not the kind of person I can prob

Ah, makes sense. I didn't say this in my original comment, but this is a cool idea, and you might want to re-submit it (perhaps with a short write-up and example links) once you have the bugs ironed out!

One of the 'services' I host is a simple interface on a server that allows me to easily upload files and get sharable links to them. At this point it's used by more than just me, a bunch of people in my circle use my instance

You can implement modals without JS, with HTML and CSS. For an example, click on '?' in the top right corner here: https://aavi.xyz/proj/colors/

That seems incredibly cool and I'd love to be able to play with and use it! Definitely doesn't sound like something that requires docker. Plus I always have a soft spot for cool tools written in PHP :)

Hi! Nice to meet my counterpart from another universe! So many similarities between our READMEs! :) I agree, FOSS is such a beautiful concept, that allows us to do cool stuff like this. :D Kudos to you as well!

All my server back-ends send me alerts and logs via matrix, which I can check easily from any device, including my phone :) https://github.com/aaviator42/MatrixTexter

This is beautiful, and I love your readme. I've been wanting to make something exactly like this for a long time but unfortunately never got around to it. I'll definitely be using this a lot. Thank you!
