That's true of anything though. And at a meta level, the end users do benefit from faster iteration. "Yes I could do without this tool, using my bare hands... But I created this tool and now it's easier and I'm faster at

I agree with the fact that "experts" are quite often wrong and it's too easy to be derailed by appeal to authority. On the other hand she has a point. As long as the tech won't be 99.99xxxx safe, it will introduce moral

Well, if it starts giving aswers that are conjectures based on non-facts, it will be dangerous as it can now be gamed. So maybe it's a feature here and not a bug?

The most impressive was actually the classical one. From a music producer standpoint if that's the quality for classical music, could definitely create some samples.

That must be subjective because Go's syntax is pretty fine to me. To illustrate, when I started learning Go, I implemented Concurrent Hash Array Mapped Tries from some PhD thesis and the pseudo code algorithm actually looked pretty muc

You still need libraries and the ecosystem. If it can't find those, then because there is no training data, best case scenario is that it will hallucinate APIs that don't exist.

That's interesting. Usually, I would ask if you have ever had difficulties focusing your attention, some ADHD? How do you grade your visualization? Can you create a scene in your head and control it 100%? How often do you get a random

One way to see it is that a type has a given methods located in a given namespace in the nominal type system. A nominal type system doesn't necessarily enforce semantics either. It just enforces the location of a method definition. See

Hmmh. You seem to be restating what was said above. A nominal type system still is superseded by a structural type system. The difference is in how a type is defined. Or what kind of constraints are in entailment said otherwise. An interfac

Fair. That's not really in contradiction too. The additional naming constraint added to a structural interface would form a sort of namespace for methods. I think in the comments below that someone likens this to tags in C++.

I don't think it will ever be possible below the point of reaching some form of AGI. But even if it were, it's more about design and not sure that a machine will have the same empathy towards a human cognitive shortcomings.

That's something I have been pondering for some time. I believe it's a false dichotomy. My thought is still that structural supersedes nominal . A nominal interface is just another constraint added to the list of constraints of
