Pretty much what greenyoda said. Capital growth refers to the value of the company itself, while cashflow relates to the day-to-day income and expenses needed to run the company. They aren't necessarily correlated with each other. For

I've got one. Entrepreneurs need to understand the difference between capital growth and cashflow.

I'm really not surprised at the lack of interest in the Fire phone. Even from the beginning, all of the advertising was focused on how the phone makes it easier to buy stuff from Amazon. They have to focus on how the device is creating

Oh thank you! I've been looking for something like this. I know about Market Samauri, but that was slow and doesn't work in Linux. It was also very spammy. Your tool is a much nicer experience.

#11. You consider yourself an outsider Reminds me of the story of Lamborghini. There was a young fellow named Ferruccio Lamborghini who built tractors for a living. He bought a Ferrari and was disappointed, so he approached Enzo Ferrari wit

Good to know thanks. I plan to visit the towns before moving there. Anyone have an opinion of Vallejo?

Cool project. I did something similar myself very recently, except I just used a spreadsheet, and I didn't look at the whole country. I was focused on cities out west. I found a list on Forbes of the 200 best cities to start a business

Hey, great service. Will that promo code be expiring, and if so, when? I'm working on something right now and I would like to use this service, but I'm not quite ready yet.

I don't think you can cite one study concerning an increased risk of varicose veins and conclude that exercise is not all it's cracked up to be. That study seems pretty legit, but it only concerns one health problem, and a relativ

This explains the problem I had with LastPass earlier today. None of my computers would let me log in for about a 10 minute period.

Wow. I didn't realize this would get so many upvotes, so I decided to put a little more effort into finding that video. I finally found it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2m6JkJvv4w

This story has another lesson buried inside it, and it is one that I first learned not long ago in a video (unfortunately I can't find a link to it). The lesson was: "The best way to get into business is to be in business". I

That happened to me too. Are you using the Disconnect plugin for Firefox (or something similar)? I had to whitelist the site in Disconnect, then it worked.

Ebola is nothing new. If terrorists wanted to use it as a weapon, they could have done it a long time ago. Now would actually be a bad time for a bioterror attack, because people are on high alert for anything that could be ebola. It would

I honestly don't see the benefit of this. If I understand it correctly, a bunch of people watch ads, causing the price to go down. But only one person gets the discounted price, and everyone else who sat there watching ads gets nothing

The fact that this solves some of the problems of cryptocurrency, and the fact that Stripe is behind it, give me a very good feeling about this. To have the clout offered by Stripe while still being open source is very powerful, and I think

I mostly agree with what the author is saying, although I would argue that it has nothing to do specifically with programmers. Our entire culture is risk-averse, preferring a "safe" job to the potential reward of starting a busine
