That was Bridgefy that required initial online access to setup. Briar doesn't and never has. Traceability of Briar users, if not the actual content, is certainly potentially worse than something like what Bitchat claims (don't use

Check the news from the past year. If you care about security or privacy, Bitchat doesn't actually have either according to !any independent security audits), so I'd stay away. If you dont care about those things, I'd look a

You should definitely read the news about bitchat. It doesnt actually have basically any security or privacy from all the dozens of independent security audit findings. Jack even said it was vibe coded and never audited.

That's the problem, they don't care if people will buy or rent them. They literally just sit on them writing off any losses against other business units. When enough institutional investors are all doing that same thing, the marke

The real contention is two fold: investors are collectively pricing out non-investors that would presumably actually live in the home they purchased, and among investors, institutional investors are both positioned to ignore market pressure

Furilabs was just in the news here because they discontinued their device models from a few years ago, and released a new device for a big price bump with _significantly worse_ hardware. I know I would love to give them a try, but a 720 scr

You should talk to some people with kids then. I can't find the source, but I think the US national average is something like $1500/month for <40 hour/wk daycare. That doesn't account for child-to-sitter ratio differe

To be clear, this plugin is only a keymap, and just extends the built in Emacs-style keymap option of VSCode. If you did much/any mapping of any keys in Emacs, or are looking to expose more Emacs-like features, you're SOL. VWCode

I did exactly the same, though I wasn't an Evil mode user. I quickly found VSCod(e|ium) lacks the internals to even do many of the basic useful things of Emacs. BTW, if you're an Evil mode user, Zed is probably your better choice.
