Can you please share your opinion on "Principles: Life and Work by Ray Dalio"? It has popped up several times on HN and I am curious about what people think of the book.

In terms of software design, I found that Designing Data Intensive Applications to be very informative, I am going to give it another read next year. It cites a lot of references at the end of every chapter for the reader to explore the var

Any chance you have that ORM of yours open-sourced somewhere?

Just took a look at Chi's RESTful API example, I like it. I also like the benchmarks. Judging by most of the comments on this thread, it looks like the community favors modular small tools over big fat frameworks, is that true?

Sweet! Buffalo looks really interesting. I was playing with Sails the other day, which is a Rails-like framework for nodejs, I will try Buffalo and try to compare the experience. Would you recommend Buffalo for a JSON Web API mobile backend

Are you going to open-source it? My company was looking at Deis but then Microsoft killed the workflow project when they acquired it.

I have seen this pattern a lot, a Europe-based engineer working remotely for US-based company. How much would you be making for say a competitor of the same size in Europe? Let's assume identical work.
