Cool design and layout. What's the radius you've set for your search? I put in an East Bay zip (in the SF Bay Area) and nothing came up.

This is one of the specific reasons the Stripes Framework ( http://stripesframework.org/display/stripes/Home ) was created. The idea behind it is that most Java frameworks require too much configuration and the start-up time (to get rollin

Here here. Redmine is sweet, though the support can be a little slow on the forums. That said, it has great issue tracking, issue conversations, multiple SCM repo integration, wikis, news, forums, etc.

I haven't taken a position on this matter yet, but is anyone (credible) looking into whether the hype around this story was generated on purpose as an attempt to smear American Muslims? See: The Radical "Muslim" Group That Threatened South

Given the other posts, there's a mix needed, and a startup CEO might need to be very different from a scaling company CEO. In a startup, who's on your team matters. Are you a two man show? You (the generalist) and your co-founder/CTO (tec

If and when machines reach the point of self sufficiency, given that they'll supposidly be driven by rational and logical thought (though post-Singularity irrationality and illogical thought could be conceivable) they'll see humans as, well

If the Singularity doesn't happen, then humans will probably live for another few millenia. If (and when) the Singularity /does/ happen, humans will be wiped off the planet within a few centuries.

I think one way to look at this is from an NPV (Net Present Value) perspective. If you work on a project where your cost to implement it is $x, but the reason you decide to undertake the project is because you think it's value is >$x+$

This is a great point--at what point specifically did things go from 1.0 to 2.0? Were there no 2.0 betas? I think a lot of this might be driven by marketers/advertisers trying to sell their clients on "a new way" of selling their content.

Good suggestion on acting like a potential customer. Furthermore, I agree that these questions may be at an "industry analysis" level. As such, I'd advise looking into utilizing http://www.marketresearch.com/ or http://www.gartner.com/
