No idea. This is a really bad ISP who seem to get nothing but complaints - they assume that all their users are really dumb, so their technical FAQ ( http://oceanbroadband.net/info/faq.html ) states only that they use a proprietary system

Github actually offers support for svn, in a way - see http://help.github.com/svn-importing/ for a bit more info. It is also possible to use git on top of svn - see http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/git-svn.html
