Great move in the article to show shifting distributions , not only a plot vs time of a shifting average etc. Possible confound not discussed: Have there been any changes in market or transportation or harvesting-technology or labor factor

To be fair, I am all in favor of bringing boot-to-editor or boot-to-shell to this level of processor. Some level of autoexec or init.sh would be helpful for deployment. Invites comparisons to MMBasic for pico. I have not unpacked the .tgz.

The article itself explores the analogy to porn more deeply than the usual offhand reference to productivity porn, particularly with reference to energy-sapping and demotivating effects.

I saw it commented somewhere that epicycles (of astronomical fame) are essentially additional terms in a Fourier series. I suppose anything nonlinear could invite multiple terms incidental to a particular local fit.

Used to be third-year in the major under Classical Mechanics. There's a good series of videos on YT, with the title Variational Calculus and the Euler-Lagrange equation on channel Structural Dynamics. I have only seen the first few.

To your point ... FWIW, young kids in cultures where they were carried in all different orientations as infants allegedly would not turn over a picture handed to them "upside down" to look at it - whereas kids who were held more

More likely in an SBC with only a few buses emerging? Advantage there could be to do your high-density routing and PCB mfg with a smaller trace-width etc process.

So after the next revolution it will all be 100V or 1000V (and a week will be 10 days)?

AFAIK uses wkhtmltopdf underneath. Saw a post suggesting Chrome browser developers would prefer not to be offering thin cli support -- presumably for such use cases to use wkhtmltopdf directly.

Aside from a single h1-h6 tree, I could imagine separate semantic tags having more traction if they contained matching alt text , as with an image tag. A sidebar might have a single-sentence summary, etc. ... Just speculating here about

In the 1980s a philosopher named Stanly Cavell was asking whether surgeons could intentionally operate on people without pain-suppressing anethesia, provided the patient would remember nothing of it. Chapter-length discussions IIRC. My simp

Aren't paralysis, pain suppression, and amnesia somewhat separately controlled by different medications in anesthesia? You hope you go under fully.

This might be called the Matthew effect, IIRC. Parking space? In the old days they built Seaborg a stairway up to LBL, so I heard.

I was thinking of more distributed control systems, particularly where testing for edge cases might be difficult and rare, and rigorous methods (did Lamport solve distributed mutex?) are probably off the radar in terms of culture.

I assume finance and control systems to start. I might be helpful to have a fallback time-ordering algorithm not dependent upon one monotonic clock, but then you might have a rarely-used fallback to have bugs in, I imagine.
