There are about 20k, up from 10k when I started there 6 years ago. But I think 5k-8k of them work at the retail stores around the world. Then take into account all the people who do QA, all the management, marketing, business, finance, and

I worked at Apple for 6 years. Believe me, the teams are still very, very small and focused. If you have a small team, you don't need to worry so much about feature creep: you don't have time to work on the less vital stuff

teams at apple are TINY. Mail is like 3 guys. iChat is 1. Address Book is 1. iPhone apps (non web based) is like a 3 person team. Final Cut Pro was around 15, which is still incredibly small given how big our application was.

Yeah, i'm not happy when people think Posterous is microblogging or Tumbleblogging. There's no limit to what you can send us, and that's the beauty of email. Oh well, people can use us however they want, compare us to whatever they see fit.

We autopost to any blog running metaweblog api, which square space does. I was able to add a square space site to my test account and autopost to it fine, but others have had issues. email us if you need to do this and need help

I second the recommendation to get a Mac Mini. Works so well to do everything you would want on your entertainment system: • Use the apple remote, or the Logitech Harmony remote • Optionally get a bluetooth kb/mouse or use VNC • Everything

We also received a similar spam like email and were very confused about what was going on. Initially, they just wanted to make sure a representative of the company could attend the event, because otherwise you're not even eligible to win. S

For other services, posting by email is an afterthought. it's poorly implemented, severely limited. With Posterous, you can send us anything by email and we'll handle it. Multiple images, video, audio, other documents all in a single mess

yeah, we at Posterous are happy to have this built into gmail. Our users are going to love it. But, you could always do inline images with Posterous by using a rich client like Mail or Thunderbird.

yeah this was a big deal for us. Most other sites do access through accounts. That stinks. I want to share my family site with my 100 family members. No way they are going to create accounts. But they do know how to type in a password.

we have a whole system in place for analyzing the email headers and determining that you are who you say you are. Arrington challenged people to spoof his site and it worked well. He still uses our site today: http://techcrunch.posterous.c

We could do it that way if we wanted to, but it sorta doesn't make sense. The "to" address determines where you are posting "to". We already use this for things like flickr@posterous.com to indicate you want your post on flickr. And soon we

We have a feature called autopost which will post to twitter, flickr, and all the existing blogging systems out there. Just sign in to Posterous and you'll see where you set that up.

Thanks for the tip! I just switched our codec to x264 and we saw a quality improvement. I'm also playing around with higher bitrates, we definitely want the video on Posterous to look good.

There are some unofficial video recording apps for the iPhone, and they have email support built right in. Hopefully one of these will make it to the app store, and we'll have a direct video to blog flow. Brings a whole new meaning to live
