Is there a tier for open source organizations? Do I have to admin any of AWS that runs behind the scenes or can I pay a fixed price to depot and get it to solve everything out of my way? I used to use Cirrus CI as an alternative to GitHub A

What I don’t get about this is how you run OS specific tasks (Windows, macOS, Linux).. I started playing with proxmox VMs and containers in them (docker and tart) to see if I can build some local infrastructure to properly solve this…

It would be cool if the dos emulator this uses would be updated with some touch controls that were like the old hackers keyboard on Android and some drag mouse like scummvm.

I wonder, are there modern and cheap dot matrix printers (and papers?). They would give a “roguelike” feel to this sort of output. I remember I enjoyed the simple typewriter behavior of connecting them to a computer db9 cable and using the

I would love a KingJim Pomera DM 250 but I can’t have it shipped easily and it is hard to find in a physical store.

There is an option to turn on semantic indexing and search on copilot in vscode. Although I have no perceptual differences when I turn it on. The docs mention something about it. https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/copil

This is the way to go. I usually play with relatively stable software where the improvements are either performance or very small niche features that are built on top of already existing ones. Big changes are undesirable by both the others

In our case the coffee shop is in the bookstore and it is located right in front of the third. The third is a really nice park (think lake and lots of playgrounds plus activities).

Yeah. I remember like sixteen years ago, I think it was a N900 phone? A friend had it and I used it to fix a bug in a php website we had in the university through ssh. It was beautifully hacky, the website had no version control. It was awe

Does sorting in chronological order require a special client for HN or is this something available in the web interface? (I can’t find it)

I am looking at this now, and to be frankly it not having a keyboard makes this uninteresting for me. Either a slide one (like old Linux Nokias), a small blackberry like one or one like the phone in Die Hard 4. Having no keyboard reduces a

This is pretty cool. Has anyone ever seen a diy star projector for the home? Most of these toy star projectors like the Sega Homestar require placing the projector at the center of the room to point up. At the same time most of the small ac

I had to Google and it does look like it, I remember the computer would boot into it and it also had space for a few (three?) icons outside the tabs (like in the “desktop”). It was a cool interface!

Do you have that Windows 3.1 version that came with the Compaq that had the DE that was like a paper folder instead of an empty desktop, and that you could put the icons in the different tabs of the paper folder?
