Totally agree, but if you don't teach them how to build a simple CPU, RAM and storage device first (possibly also network card), the experience is quite lacking.

There have been quite a few exploits over the years, with the most recent public CVE 2 years ago [1]. Your specific setup uses `--net=host` and this opens you up to potential vulnerabilities (see [2]). You also shouldn't forget that co

Not sure how secure this really is, because it's fairly easy to break out of a Docker container with the default settings (due to the fact that the kernel is shared between containers and the host, unlike with VMs). Rootless Docker (or

"Before", it was trivial to move or delete tags and edit release assets. The only stable identifier available was the commit hash. Immutable releases now enable permanently locking tags and releases to make supply chain attacks ha

The concept of combining a digital game with physical game pieces really reminded me of Osmo [1] (although their games are more focused on education and most are single-player). This could definitely enhance that experience significantly. G

Yesterday, I discovered regexle [1] and today found out that this was the inspiration for it. I think I've seen this puzzle before, but I really enjoyed myself gradually solving it while doing other things in the last two hours. I'

As far as I can tell, jj intends to be more like a cross-VCS frontend (with their own native backend coming at some point). If tooling supports jj, it would automatically support git, jj's native backend, Google's hybrid backend a

I've solved this long ago by disabling the app. Sadly, that means I can't view videos in the gallery, but I believe it's a fair compromise. I'd recommend taking a look at open source alternatives like Lavender Photos [1]
