“You merely adopted the loneliness. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't know love until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!” More seriously, ride the loneliness with manly grace: lose the shrink drugs,

Even in the US, I don't think right wing == capitalist. There are the people in it for the economics and others for the ideas/values.

That's "small"? Here I am with my 5.2" Xperia XA2 thinking I'll be forced to go back to dumbphones in the future... along with many others, I guess.

Grossly asymmetric warfare promotes and "kinda" justifies guerilla tactics from one side. Necessity knows no law and all that. Of course, that does mean the bigger side has to get dirty too, sometimes. Just not to the extent that

Reading your comment and all its subtree made me realize there's another difficulty to the problem: what atomic unit do you use? Tracks, albums, artists? One might argue that "artist" isn't granular enough, since lots of

Funnily, "interesting" is one of those characteristics that follow the "there's nothing less X than someone who wants to seem X". Along with "cool", "manly" and probably dozen others.

Always cute to see people speak with such confidence about stuff they know nothing about. QAnon was always controlled opposition, unlike the website that was monitored then closed by the feds (CF) via false flag attack.

Am I the only one who has a more circumspect reaction to such finding/claim? The idea that vaccines have unknown (since they're discovered much latter) effects very much separate from what they're supposed to do isn't re

One we discussed yesterday with a colleague (we're C++ devs): seeing anyone - especially a fellow dev - browsing the web WITHOUT ANY ADBLOCKER.

Read your third link, please. The Ministry of Truth not being happy that their policy on "disinformation" isn't being applied as strongly as they wish isn't what I'd call "pushing heavy propaganda".

Hello, I read the FAQ and didn't manage to find (perhaps my fault) if users had to store data they didn't explicitly/manually cloned; like Freenet. Is it the case?

Yes it does. It means: do my POSIX sh scripts using only POSIX utilities and their specified options/behaviour work here?

Well no, it does exist, but not in UNIX itself, in Plan 9.

You also need to change the /bin/sh symlink (to the included /bin/dash) to avoid multiple bugs in their ancient bash 3.2 showing in POSIX scripts.

Unmaintained? You must be mistaken, libjxl was getting a healthy stream of commits. The issue was the use of C++ instead of Rust or WUFFS (that Chromium uses for a lot of formats).

I don't think you understand his point. Ruby has a different syntax because it presents different/more language features than a very basic C-like language; it's inspired by Lisp/SmallTalk, after all. Lua doesn't but

Tried gron ( https://github.com/tomnomnom/gron ) a bit? If you know your UNIX, I think it can replace jq in a lot of cases. And when it can't, well, you can reach for Python, I guess.
