Huh? I've been developing against the Nvidia ecosystem for years. Just build a container and you're done. They even provide base containers. Anything specific related to DC level computing?

Honestly they should be hired by NVIDIA or AMD.

This thread is about DC level HW, not consumer electronics.

20% performance on a 10GW DC? Suuuuuuure....

if you read the article it links to an Italian supreme court summary that apparently states he has lost his appeal to not get extradited, so after that it shouldn't have been a surprise that... he was extradited.

would you have a video link to such a map in action? I've never came across this before and sounds very interesting.

what purpose does the new coreutils serve other than being written in Rust?

ideally stupid rewrites never happen, but alas...

certainly! I didn't say otherwise. however once software that has been only rewritten for the sake of being written in Rust starts affecting large distributions like Ubuntu, that's a different issue... however one could argue that

no, just the usual... people want to rewrite stuff in Rust "just because". it's getting annoying.

you're comparing your M1 Max with the base model M5, not M5 Max. chill. it will come.

GH200 is $1.5/hr at lambda and can do 450GB/s to the GPU. seems still cheaper?

GB is CPU+2xGPU. GH is readily available for anybody at 1.5 dollars per hour on lambda; GB is harder and we're just going to begin to experiment on it.

what is a typical workload that you speak of, where CPUs are better? We've been implementing GPU support in Presto/Velox for analytical workloads and I'm yet to see a use case where we wouldn't pull ahead. The DRAM-VRAM

no, neither of you are right. to short you just need to buy ATM puts. while technically not the classical short, if you believe it's downhill from there, this will pay. get ATM into 2028dec and you're good if it crashes.

I do not agree with you at all and I think your analogy is wrong as well. For a VPC I'd never use v6 unless an application is explicitly requires it.

No, it's not my job to file bug reports and wait for $randomcorp to fix it. I'll just use v4, thank you very much.

my ISP gives me native v6 and a /56. I had sooo much trouble, I gave up and just disabled v6 in the kernel. For example some sites might resolve a v6 address which is unreachable and the fallback takes ages. Some sites would resolve, c
