so it's irrelevant that the job position wants something that is not in sync with the job title?

I've got into the Great Minds program at IBM Research in Switzerland and have been with IBM Research ever since.

you don't have to have any means, just a job, albeit your employer must prove that they couldn't fulfill the job within Switzerland (and within the EU, if you're from outside the EU)

it is for highly skilled/specialized workers coming from the EU. I've emigrated to Switzerland more than a decade ago and couldn't be happier.

I've wondered in the past: is there an actual theoretical upper limit based on the physicality of it on the bandwidth of a single fibre link?

don't forget that ASUS is so bad with warranties that GN not only once but twice now called them out and there are YouTubers who refuse to review ASUS devices.

and nobody complained then, just as nobody should complain now, but unfortunately the world turned into this in the last couple of years.

Do you know if it aired in Japan as an ad? If not, then I am not sure what you're talking about.

I don't need to fiddle with settings and as a developer all my tools are there (git, clang, ...). I don't need to care about the version of my kernel and can be worry free to click update. Plus it's beautiful, great to touch

this is true for small datasets. on large datasets, once loaded into GPU memory, cross GPU shuffling with NVLink is going to be much faster than CPU to RAM. on the H100 boxes with 8x400Gbps, IO with GDS is also pretty fast. for truly IOboun

I think this is very slow for some reason. I'll bookmark this and try on an A100 and a H100 box and then will try with multigpu on larger data.

I have some news for you: you must disable IOMMU on the H100 platform anyway, at least for optimal GDS :-)

I was just looking at headscale. Last release mid 2023. I had immediately asked myself: is this even maintained anymore? I think this is a very valid question to ask.
