I don't think killing of your own product and copying facebook can work. They would probably loose almost all their users in days like "digg".

I think it makes a big difference for your insurance pay out if robbers entered with a copied key or left traces of lock manipulation.

No loophole! It only count's if you exclusively need encryption for DRM. Not for other stuff like, to protect your users chat communication for example.

I think "only" apps that allow communication are affected. Websites that only pull generic data are safe.

I think self driving cars and carts will also kill almost all middlemen. Why go shopping for food if you can get everything shipped to your fridge for 20-30% less, direct from the producer. Google will probably also offer to drive you for f

I think the future of popularity voting algorithms will have to include blame. I wan't to be able to blame and plonk someone who inserts Native Ads in my News Stream. Voting Algorithms are currently doing the opposite. Reputable News O

If you write a paper you also first cite what is state of the art. Before you go into details what Innovation you came up with. So researching SO first, before reinventing the Wheel. Resembles more the scientific way of problem solving. You

Nice. I like it. Maybe it can be combined with something like clmtracker for face detection.

I am working on a modernized feedly alternative and thought about this. But my real Problem for this feature would be to automate face/feature detection. Thumbor claims to be able to do this. But I am not convinced that this would work

So why do you assume automation doesn't also bring down costs at the competition and forces as a result everyone to give the reduced costs back to the customer? In your Model you would need to be able to tax world wide.

I think as soon as the robot is also able to fill the fridge by itself and even be cheaper than shopping yourself. It will change the world.

Feedly doesn't really sort by Popularity. Instead they simply load ca. 20 entries and select the three most popular entries on the client side as Featured. That being said at scale you have to compromise one way or other. The Idea behi

Thanks. We will launch our beta on feedcred.com in the next weeks. But we haven't setup a dedicated blog or social media yet. I must admit registering a company and marketing are things I have to do my due diligence on very soon.

I wonder if they could introduce a tax to counter this. With a traffic shaping tax for the last mile. And tax free net neutral lines. Bonus benefit would be, secret traffic shaping and blackmailing Startups would be tax fraud.

And how convenient that worldwide TPP, TTIP, CETA and ASEAN are on fast track to outlaw Robot Taxes. A lot of countries would otherwise probably try to save their then imploding pension and welfare systems with Robot Taxes.

Copetitors in Germany won't care. They make money with misinforming. The Government also openly wants Facebook to censor refugee critics.

Parking spaces could be tranformed to roads. And streets or even whole cities alloted to Robo Cars only and then used much more efficiently.

Some no frills car sharing companies make their users clean the car. And if you get a dirty car you can order a new one and the previous driver gets billed. And small one person Robo cars could also be build much simpler and cheaper.

Is Google selling you it's search engine, so you can mod it? No. And I don't think they will sell their cars either. They will probably offer free Ubers to select destinations. And what class of car you get, depends on how much mo

But if you also need to use MySql anyway, Cassandra would be the "wrong Tool". Because you would have to maintain two DBMS instead of one. You want to minimize complexity and this can mean implementing your own Sharding.
