With C++17, if constexpr removed most of the necessity for crazy SFINAE uses. Before that it was definitely worse. C++20 adds even more to make things more "semantic"; they're constantly adding better language support for tem

I think this is.. quite wrong. I don't think C++ is an amazing language (it's not in my top 3 personally, but I do work with it daily), but templates are one of the best things about the language IMO. I have a lot of experience wi

Yeah... Real engineers would call that an engineering problem. Like the kind who have stamps that can cost or preserve lives. You're just showcasing the immaturity of most software "engineers", yourself included.

Yes, there are many. It's quite easy to find the answer to that question. We're not talking about crazy hypertrophy type lifting - bench 135, squat 185, deadlift 225 and you will not have rsi problems.

The fact that people live there doesn't make it desirable. People will always defend where they live. Don't be naive.

Yep, try it some time. Believe it or not, reducing inhibitions helps build close friendships by making is easier for people to get to know one another. Who could've guessed?!?

Passing raw (non-owning) pointers is fine, even if references would be better. Heap allocating with new instead of a smart pointer is the problem.

It doesn't get in the way at all. Once you understand what's going on, it is a huge productivity boost.

You handle it by being happy that you still have an internship right now. There is a lot going on in the world, now is not the time to feel entitled to anything.

This is a ridiculous oversimplification that doesn't scale at all to larger orgs. Every modular component in its own repo? That basically means creating a repo for every library. You could easily be managing thousands of repos with neg

I haven't read the law, but I would be surprised if it excluded the Danish equivalent of K-1. That would not make sense, it's a completely different thing.

Sorry - I meant that neither L1 nor L2 can trigger twice in a day, E.g. down 8%, up 2%, down 9% does not trigger a second L1 breaker.

It's important to note that limit up/limit down (LULD) is not the same thing as the circuit breakers. They have a very specific meaning and operate independently (with much more complicated rules as well). You probably know this,

"They" don't do anything - this is called a circuit breaker, and is automatically triggered. There are three breakers: L1 - 7% down before 3:25pm - 15 minute halt L2 - 13% down before 3:25pm - 15 minute halt L3 - 20% down - h

Haha, I love comments like this. We've written over 10 million lines as 20-40 people in the past 15 years. I'll be sure to tell everyone we're not supposed to be moving so fast.

Except that you can, by just doing the things you want to do until they become habits. It's not really much different than going to the gym or deciding not to drink too often. Even though you might want/not want to do the thing, y
