In terms of solving harassment issues, it wouldn't help. My address and new name will still pop up on the registry. In terms of getting a job, yes, I could get a name change, but I feel like that would be unethical. If a company wouldn

I've always had the drive to do things like this in my spare time. I'd love to get paid for solving technical problems for an employer. I think besides the obvious, I'd make a good candidate for an employee at something like

I haven't found a markup language that I really prefer for configuration files, but JSON has been reasonably nice to me in NPM configurations and VS Code settings and I haven't ran into problems yet. I understand the motivation fo

This looks like a great transitional framework for people who need to support existing PHP code or infrastructure and aren’t ready to make the jump to React just yet.

I'd argue that's the opposite. Python was the first dynamic language I learned. The scoping rules in Python didn't bother me because I didn't know any better, not because they're intuitive or well designed.

“Works as intended” but also “unintuitive to most users” is still broken. Disclaimer: I have hated python ever since falling out of love with it 8 years ago for reasons just like this one so I’m definitely biased.

Styled-Components gives you efficiently “inlined” styles (creates unique CSS class used only by instances of your component) and doesn’t affect global CSS. It’s up to the developer to avoid polluting with global CSS and that’s honestly not

Hi everyone! I made this site in my spare time between job interviews, and it's grown into a community of ~50 people, many of whom are talented pixel artists. Since it's kind of novel and weird, I thought you guys would want to kn

Afaik, macOS and Windows (and probably all modern kernels) use something halfway between microkernels and monoliths, I think they call it hybrid kernels. The reason being there's benefits to both approaches, so why not both?

I'm not sure about that. If I use create-react-app to do a lot of the heavy lifting for the front-end, and use nothing but GraphQL for the back-end, that is still pretty simple, right?
