Yep, and that's in the aggregate. So some sectors got probably worse. Germany also has since forever now a domestic demand crisis. Austerity since the 90s and another boost in 2010 (Agenda 2010). Forced it on entire EU and hardcore on

I loved that book also, but saw him a few year later saying in some youtube video "don't use that book" because it is obsolete in his opinion.

No they would not. Not all and probably most progresses are not technological. Are you living under a rock?

This solves exactly zero problems I have. Can't Dahl find something useful to do after 20 years?

In my opinion Andy Weir is not a very good writer anyways, he is ok. When the story is interesting enough that is typically fine, like in The Martian. Hail Mary is too long certainly, characters a little flat, however, Ray can fix the flat

Yeah I also didn't like the book at all, it read like a cash grab. However, just listen to a sample of the audio book, it's just hilarious how much effort Ray put into making the characters become alive. Certain significantly impr

The problem with Project Hail Mary is that the audio book is good but the book is not. First read the book and then listen to the audio book and you know what I mean.

Of course it is a personal attack on the character of the person. That is the only thing guard-railing spreading nonsense. Software people need to work on their character.

This post is sooo symptomatic of people who have too much time and don't seem to be educated beyond their field. Overthinking something that maybe not that complicated after all. The egos of software people is just bigger than it shoul

Who care who thinks what, a tweet, really? As if we have to agree on some pointless statements. In certain areas it is used, in others not. Now what? I really don't know what the point of such posts are. It is only relevant for people

Strange discussion here. I'm a developer in everything for 20 years and the last 7 probably in large JS/TS applications. I switched to Blazor Server for the last year in a new company and it has a montrous amount of benefits. Firs

These subscription models are straight up scam if a webservice is not essential for its working and also then it must be resonably priced. I pay for MS Office + OneDrive probably 7€/month. So how does this shit add up?

This is Future Perfect in English, hence the name Prophetic Perfect Tense, I guess. It is also not that similar, since PPT is speaking about events in the future in past tense as if they have already happened and Future Perfect/Futur I

The UI is garbage. It's like GIMP. I'm more than happy to pay for software especially when it has a well designed (user first) UI. It is not only the UI, it is the UX generally. It's weird and nerdy and thinks it must be &quo

I find your points rather weird. > e.g. how to make a piece of state inside one component accessible from another. That is logically the same with every component framework, there is only one correct way to design it, flowing inside data

As always, I find these ranking-based justifications for decisions just plain stupid and childish. Also with Vue 3 you won't have any issue and it is already out for a while, so what have you been doing anyways?

This is so bizarr, I wouldn't even know how to inspect, verify and critique the claims made. Also there is no subject in such simple algorithms, very relaxed use of big words.
