It seems that second scenario is much better since it means more work for us, developers?

I think he means that "to err is human". It is very easy to make frustrating mistakes in JavaScript which is not just dynamic, but even weakly-typed. Following that Node.js is obviously most human.

Sounds reasonable but a bit outdated. Then again who would've guessed that historical ubiquity of JS scripting language would eventually put it on server side?

What if you implement in-app purchases. It will look like a free program, but when they get used to it: "Bang! You have used all your id-card-coins for the week. Would you like to buy more?". This is how consumers are owned these

It is possible to work at Google and own a side start-up at the same time? Is UK less prohibitive about such situations than US (intellectual property)?

"I don't mean to imply Unity is 1:1 API replacement for XNA" - this is what I meant. You cannot build your own engine on top of Unity, but some people don't need to.

MonoGame is meant to be an OSS XNA replacement. It's very good for indies with good programming skills. Fez and Bastion were implemented using XNA/MonoGame. If one is more of a game-designer/scripter or is business-oriented t
