As far as I am aware, most modern ones. Panasonic, LG etc.. Whilst the Netflix UI is great compared to a huge number of apps, I do find it has actually deteriorated over the past couple of years, in terms of interface speed. Nowadays, when

I'd suggest following up any conversation of substance with general counsel (or even the likes of HR for that matter) with an email detailing the conversation you just had. Don't do it in an obtuse manner; let them know in advance

Tried to read the terms and conditions.. got an error [0] Whilst you are there, the terms and conditions aren't obviously clickable. Also, would love to be able to sign up with email, but only get Facebook / Twitter auth options.

I've been the other side of this as part of the interview process. One person we were interviewing solved a problem pretty much exactly opposite to the way that we (and every other candidate) had solved it. At first glance it simply lo

That sounds like a recall. I had the same thing on an older MacBook Pro with dodgy graphics card. Took it in to an authorised dealer, who didn't charge me up front for diagnosis, to then get a call saying it had been replaced and no fe

Have to agree on the wheel of time. It's a shame it had to finish. That level of escapism over so many books is hard to match. Finish it and you're lost for weeks. Dark tower was another guilty pleasure of mine.

Funny that, my experience is quite the opposite. Nexus 6P (Marshmallow); any time I lost phone signal the messaging app would get itself stuck in a tight loop until it had to be force stopped. You'd think they would have tested that on

Do you have a reference for that? I was under the impression that the first 100,000 units are free, and then 20c per unit afterwards to a max of $25m. H264 drops to 10c per unit after 5m units, to a max of $6.5m. You need to be shipping 125

How does that make economical sense? I can pay to render everything for my user, essentially streaming their webpage to them. Or for the potential cost of a slightly slower page load I can offset the cost of all that rendering to their xGHz

It's to keep first line support busy.. I'm still surprised when I see people using caps lock instead of shift for typing a single uppercase character (This being the keyboard peckers who still use one finger for everything).

This brings to mind the three whys, and why it is important to ask them for both positive and negative situations. Blame culture is extremely toxic, but negative feedback can have as much benefit as positive if approached from the correct a

Not sure about the smileys, but the functional icons are pretty neat, thanks for sharing. Slightly OT, but the codepen highlighting of the various steps taken is incredibly intuitive, and does a great job of visualising how these icons are

If the company is small enough, and the all-hands frequent enough, those awards become a 'who haven't we given an award to yet', which ultimately undermines the point of giving it out in the first place.

JSON is not inherently schemaless, it's just generally not used with one. Initiatives like JSONSchema go some way to restoring some constraints to the format and prevents unchecked deviation over time.

I read it as perhaps some old dormant accounts never got migrated out of an ancient DB, and may have been picked up with the rest of the data. Yahoo is an old company, I'm sure procedures have changed drastically over the years.
