I stand to be corrected. Though I tried again just now and this is what Gemini Pro produced: > I'm assuming you mean a Fibonacci sequence generator! I'll write a Python script that includes both an iterative and a recursive way

Yep. I would argue that any sufficiently large system reaches a point where more code is in fact the opposite of what it needs. Nutrition and calories are only useful up-to a point and then we have diminishing and later on negative returns.

The reason they are long is because these skills are produced mostly by Claude Code and Opus and no sensible human will read these files, let alone build a mental model around them. There is just layers of assumptions that this works - when

This seems like common sense but it does not work in practice. Prompting is just the first part. To get the outcome, you need to have other systems to steer the agent as it get things wrong. Proper deterministic tests work. But there is als

With advances in AI you would've thought the priority would be on automating as much as possible of the non-human facing work and double-down on meaningful customer relationships - but no.

The hacker aesthetics of TUIs, especially around coding agents, is undeniable and the fact that you can mostly run them on any shell (even remote) is neat. But the UX? If you the goal is not to read a single line of the code churned by thes

I am not saying that they do not work. What I am saying is that they do not handle many things that we handle internally and yes our code is not open source so I have the luxury to compare notes without revealing much how we do things... so

I really don't mean to discourage anyone but I find that making your own harness is pretty complex process. We where very naive when we started, thinking this is just a loop, but then it turned out it has all kinds of nuances, edge-cas

We have our own... so I was making the comment form our own experience working with the model. It is a lot trickier to use kimi compared to sonnet - hence why it seems that sonnet is more powerful while I think it is down to the harness.

Kimi is capable model but it needs a very good harness. With a good harness it is a very capable model. But it can get into all kinds of issues (loops and such) something that frontier models do not. As I said, you can blame the model, but

Correct. However, last time I checked enterprise customers are moving to metered billing. GitHub also decided to so. So it seems the subsidy is coming to an end? I don't know.

I am still baffled by the fact that we have collectively agreed to use agentic harnesses by the same companies that are selling access to their APIs. I mean, I am sure they don't mean it but they have the incentive to burn as much toke

Cool, but yes you can render whatever you want as long as you register an MCP resource and use it as part of a tool call. It is just html in an iframe.

There is noticeable trend across all agentic coding platforms that this situation is no longer sustainable. With this kind of pricing (sonnet 4.6 has 9x multiplier, previously 1x) it begs the question why use Copilot to begin with. You coul

We've implemented this type of feature years ago. I can make a couple of comments as a result: 1. Sanitising PII data needs to be de-santised on the client in order to keep the UX somewhat functional. For example, if you say my name is
