My own experience here - I am based in London. There is a huge talent shortage and huge skill gap. So not only there are not enough people to cover every single role out there but there is also lack of skill and solid understandings of secu

First of all, interesting! Second, this is some sort of security information and event management (SIEM)? At least this is what it looks like from the brief description put online.

This is strange. FF dev tools are a lot quicker for our apps then the Chrome dev tools. In fact, the Chrome dev tools are snail speed compared to the FF ones. Again, this might be related to the type of app you are developing.

We have integrated Coinbase recently. Transactions take over a day to get verified. This is fine because the product is an annual subscription. That being said, except as an alternative to an international transfer, BTC has not much e-comme

Thanks. I will have a look. Btw, the tool will be a black-box vulnerability scanner but just like ZAP, it will be able to proxy as well - all nicely packaged with minimal dependencies and no framebuffer rendering - so it should be snappy.

Of course, and that will work. However, what if the vulnerability artefacts need to be converted into issues in GitLab? That will require a much deeper integration then printing the details in the build log. Dropping a file will be easy. We

Most of the problems are around docker not cleaning up after itself. Eventually, the discs get full and then we have to manually clean things up. Another problem is that for whatever reason CI cannot checkout the git repo so the build fails

I was suspecting that. Thanks for sharing this info. It will be really nice if you guys implement ways to swap the built-in DAST tool. My startup is actually going to release something really cool and useful in the next couple of weeks and

The security testing feature is definitely interesting but I wonder how it performs as that by itself is a non-trivial task. It can be done for sure but it takes a lot of resources and care to make it useful. EDIT: I would like to add that

Lambda and dynamo are currently 600% cheaper than running our own instances. For us, we are making substantial savings. In fact, the biggest cost is not Lambda itself but dynamo because we had to create quite a few indexes. Frankly, these t

If there is a real need to port your infrastructure you can do it in small steps. Using single cloud provider is also not smart. If I need to do huge data processing I will never do it with AWS although this is where the rest of the infrast

Everything is a lock-in. :) Lambda has a straightforward interface so wrapping your functions in something else should be easy enough.
