It is easy to enumerate what is bad for ones life - much harder to define a good life, hence one is able to achieve "good life" by substracting all that is considered "bad life".

I work in Security. This process produces no substantial results. They should invest into automation not some ill thought manual review process. This is part of the reasons why the Firefox extensions store is in decline. It is enough to lo

My company and I have no interest in supporting Firefox in the future and yes, I still feel betrayed when they dropped XUL. Many people did. Even with WebExtensions, the Firefox extension review process is substantially lacking compared to

I like the idea. In 99% of the cases, I rather buy the service than develop it from scratch and support it long-term. Most consumer-facing services I've seen are relatively cheap. I only tend to develop existing things if I find there

The iOS SDKs provide a number of features that increase developer productivity, many of which are related accessibility because this is what iOS SDKs are all about. It is not like the iOS OS automatically does all of the work for you, it is

And who is best to decide what is best for the application but the developer who created it? If I want to create an app that looks like a game and just happen not to run fullscreen why should we even discuss conformity with native UIs as a

Btw, nobody is forcing anyone to use any packages from npm. You can easily use whatever repository you want. You can store your dependencies in your source repositories together with you application or another entirely separate repo. JavaSc

Deno makes not sense to me outside of hobby projects, lambda functions and other small components. Large projects with thousands of lines of code will be difficult to support with this paradigm. The security model is also not great. I appla

While I agree that NPM can be improved, most people who are complaining about the number of dependencies have no idea what they are doing. If you install a package without the --production, which is default, you get everything including per
