This is about the dumbest thing you can do. TikTok at least maintains a facade of neutrality. 小红书 does not differentiate between the Chinese and western versions, meaning you're under the same rules as in China. Any comments against th

Been using my Framework 13 since launch. It's definitely better than the MacBook I had before it. I have not had to repair it even once (vs 3 times in 3 years for the Mac). The "repairability" doesn't really matter much

1 req/s being too much sounds crazy to me. A single VPS should be able to handle hundreds if not thousands of requests per second. For more compute intensive stuff I run them on a spare laptop and reverse proxy through tailscale to ex

TLS fingerprinting still beats most of them. For really high compute endpoints I suppose some sort of JavaScript challenge would be necessary. Quite annoying to set up yourself. I hate cloudflare as a visitor but they do make life so much e

I have to ssh into different places quite frequently and keeping the zsh configuration synced was a pain. Fish had 95% of what I needed out of the box so rather than putting a ton of scripts in place, installing omz, plug-ins etc, I run a s

I've got myself a Framework 13 at launch and it has lasted well so far. Repairability isn't as big of a deal though. Chips have been good enough for a long time such that an upgrade will only ever be necessary once in maybe 10 yea

https://github.com/sickcodes/Docker-OSX seems more established. I used it a while back when I was in a country where that was legal. These days I just use GitHub Actions instead.

It's unfortunate that dendrite is on life support. I've been using it for a long time to contact family in countries with high censorship. I want to migrate to conduit or a fork of it but can't find any docs on how to do that
