I wanted it to work on IOS. None of those were viable. In terms of why not my own plugin, that's just pure incompetence. I don't know TypeScript that well while getting the API done only took a few days. I tried working on a plug

It's very difficult. If you're in the UK, most uni students are struggling with internships as well. If you're looking for money, bug bounties may be worth a look. That's what I did 16-17 and it paid for my uni tuition

The evidence is shaky at best. A lot of hand wavy coincidences. The ballotproof accusation I've seen before. It's a random GitHub repo with 22 stars. I doubt anyone was seriously using it. If there has been fraud, more solid proof

I currently live in student accommodation so not sure what they're using upstream. The university network also drops wireguard connections but only to known providers like Mullvad (assuming obfuscation is off)

Commits fixing the bug date back around 3 or 4 weeks. The patched release came 3 weeks ago. Perhaps some parties weren't informed that it's security critical (Homebrew, Arch, etc) and are now scrambling
