I ended up just throwing it 4 gigs of memory and it has pretty much been fine ever since. I do restart every few weeks when it reaches 1 GB though

I do wish more of the younger generation would be willing to hang out on forums/irc/etc. I would not install Facebook even if it cost me friends

And its resource usage is depressing. Isn’t Crystal garbage collected? I’m not sure why it has memory leaks. Also, >300 MB of RAM usage (in docker. Some might be the system) with only 2 users after running for a while seems a bit too muc

Cloudflare is operating a VPN service without using its name? Are you sure it’s not someone else forwarding their traffic through Cloudflare (as common with many v2ray providers)

I’m confused. Where does he say he’s Chinese? Also, I would be willing to bet not everyone was racist. 1990s wasn’t too far back

To be honest, I have no idea. All I know is that you definitely need quite a few cite-able sources, if for any reason, just to tick boxes

I did something similar for my extended essay (IB class of 2023) last year. (Evaluated the effectiveness of fine tuning at removing censorship from training phase) Didn’t do too well. Make sure to focus on the theory & cite lots of pape

Stating the obvious. Also, they should’ve gone with GPT-4. It’s less error prone (but obviously still makes such mistakes)

From what I understand, Stable Diffusion starts out with random noise that is then step by step made into the final image. Randomness is there at the beginning. Current LLMs first find the n most likely next token and only then gets randomn

Just Google it. There are tons of results. https://www.wapcar.my/news/in-china-640-evs-caught-fire-in-t... With the degree of censorship they have, I wouldn’t be surprised if more were covered up.

I remember you popping into the ChatGPT-Hackers discord (which I’m no longer part of) a while back with your guide on how to get GitHub stars. I really don’t like the gamification of GitHub stars. It feels like abuse from marketing departme

The support conversation feels so off. What’s with the lack of professionalism & all the weird emojis? Gen-z these days…

The solution at the top of Google tends to be correct. I would need to verify on Google whether that GPT-4 was giving me is correct or not at least 50% of the time. The stuff I usually tinker with are perhaps too niched to have GPT-4 reliab

This was a while ago so it probably wouldn’t work today. I had to get past a captcha for automation and the solution I came up with was to always choose 2. If it was incorrect, just request a new captcha until it passed. For some reason, 2

I disagree on that. I find that the people that usually use AI to code don’t actually know what they’re doing. Of course there are exceptions but you really shouldn’t use AI for anything other than autocomplete

I often go in so that if necessary, I can pop in and code on their computers a bit if my teammates get stuck somewhere. Yes it’s like babysitting but it takes so much longer to walk them through & explaining how to fix it over chat

What are stars even worth? Certainly not the number of possible contributors this chases away (I see issue reporters as contributors as well since they’re spending effort finding/debugging what you would have to do at some point anyway
