For the LLM use, the challenge is that it will only discover those after first requesting and parsing the HTML version. Maybe it will notice those, and maybe it will figure out the pattern for follow-up page requests, but there's no gu

People in similar cultures and societies tend to roughly align, but its still leaky within a society and can be very misaligned across different societies. The problem of alignment with AI is that there's potentially a power imbalance.

Are they? Humans are often at war with other groups of humans. And they do absolutely terrible things to the "other" group.

We don't align humans. Just look at how often in documented human history there weren't wars going on somewhere.

I feel for the team having to deal with these problems at github today. Its also beyond me how those in charge for years wouldn't have seen this coming. Github was bought by Microsoft, whether they wanted to acknowledge that internally

It appears that its okay as long as you did the hacj on behalf of one of the most over valued companies out there. If a person in their basement did the same hack, you better believe there would be legal repercussions.

I don't think alignment is even clearly defined today. Your use of it here makes sense, it may have done exactly what the prompter asked of it. Most people think alignment is more broad though, expecting an aligned model to act in the

> We are placing stricter requirements on alignment This is comical. Its impossible to align a black box and that's precisely what LLMs are. It also seems impossible to align recursive text prediction algorithms, which LLMs are. How

Peppermint is also very helpful for headaches and nausea in my experience. I'll smell some peppermint oil or put a drop on my upper lip, headaches and nausea go away pretty soon after.

Yes its border patrol, but its also still specifically for American citizens. Border patrol doesn't get immunity from the constitution and my need to reenter the country is not probably cause for a Terry stop and search of my phone.

It isn't foolproof though, and police and DAs have incentive to both work together and to look the other way. Note I also didn't say the problem is rampant. I take issue that its possible at all, and that it isn't a 100% succ

Maybe a better example as a half decent defense attorney, or the judge, could get subsequent evidence thrown out there. A cop pulls you over for a brake light. They decide to go fishing, asking where you're coming from or where you

Rights needing to occasionally be upheld by the courts wasn't my complaint though. Its cases where rights we're clearly infringed, at least I'd expect most citizens would agree, and courts uphold it because a person didn'

That shouldn't be limited to cash payers though. Insurance companies should not be part of the process of care providers pricing their service, nor should they be able to deny a charge after the fact. Today's model is great for

Unreasonable search is always under attack though. There are many instances today of cops forcibly entering a home claiming nothing more than a welfare check, or "we received a call." Edit to add that its also more difficult than

Making healthcare more affordable was literally in the name. I agree they also aimed to expand coverage, but cost reduction as a top line item and my point was simply that it didn't land that goal. At a minimum since we don't know

Nothing stops a doctor or an office from saying "treatment X costs $Y." Doctors can't say how much an insurance provider will cover or what a patient's out of pocket will therefore be, but that is a separate issue furthe

Preauthorization is a bit different, and yes I can see care providers hating it. Its possible for a provider to know ahead of time that providing a saline IV costs $60, for example. Its also possible to have health care policies that approv

No one benefits when there's a single player in an industry. When that single player also owns your taxes and military, its a risk we should at least avoid if at all possible.
