The "end game" from the user's point of view would if someone indeed came up with "content selectors". It would be quite an achievement to build one that was actually useful. Maybe easy version could work exactly th

Temporary Containers also solve this problem (as long as you don't open things outside temporary containers), while also isolating tabs from other cookies.

I'm not sure what you mean by "same behavior". I don't think you can externally distinguish between "x = x + x" and "x += x" in Rust, because while in the first case a new temporary value will be crea

A careful person can use e.g. curl -- "$(xsel -o)" to deal with this. Bonus: with e.g. zsh you can press tab and see the expanded version.

I'll one-up this idea! So for each publication, you'd need to provide two serious attempts of reproducing other published results. You would make the reproductions yourself, but also anyone else could do them for you (here's

Shows my research ;). But, still, have such glass-walled been tested for ESD/RF, if they are not sold as systems? Or are those transparent parts made of some RF-blocking material? Surely a vendor such as HP would have the paperwork to

People can buy cases with glass covers on their sides—I have one—and I do wonder, could they ever sell a complete computer system with these case, due to ESD/RF regulations.. Is it a loophole selling computer cases that could never (co

The track goes quiet, other tracks keep working. I suppose if the track has other ways to make sound (e.g. the plugin is just one of the many instruments it's playing) then it's just that part of the processing graph, but I haven&

Bitwig actually has this figured out: all audio stuff is already its own separate separate process and you can even further isolate plugins to separate processes. Probably they key reason why they get to support X86 plugins on M1.

tlc essentially uses brute-forcing, apalache uses SMT solvers. tlc still has some advantages over apalache in some conditions, but actually I've never even used apalache with my models (I'm still in the practice phase, though).
