What needs to be enabled in ublock/umatrix to actually complete the survey? I got to the very bottom but clicking submit does nothing and I didn't feel like debugging anything deeper. I rarely do surveys but the shirt looks cool.

Yes, Qubes is only as secure as Xen which, itself, has had some pretty big security flaws pop up [1]. At the end of the day one has to decide what kind of trade offs they are willing to make in order to balance simple UX and security. [1]

Why would a NSA guy even run any AV? Isolate and compartmentalize everything based on the task and its dependencies. You should assume everything you run could be bad or that you are already compromised.

Instead of instructing users to "copy & paste", encourage users to manually type it out so the concept is retained better. Just taking a page out of Zed Shaw's Learn Python the Hard Way.

I hope that someone who knows "gigx" in real life checks in on him. It is safe to assume that he spent a significant amount of time playing Eve to reach the level that he did. Yes, he got drunk on power and it pissed people off. I

This is a really important question. I wonder how insurance companies would price this as well. If the machines have access to all written legal data then are they allowed to pick and choose which information they include in their legal goo

There is a very big difference between a good lawyer and a bad lawyer. I hope Atrium has the good lawyers on their side while the machines are initially getting trained.

This is also true for finance which is heavily dependent on Excel. Very few people want to audit and verify a model given the monstrosity that some spreadsheets turn into over time.

Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign work very well for me under WINE. There are cases where those programs don't work 100% but they work 99% for everything that I need which is fine for me. It feels much faster than run

It just hit me why people continue to ask for headless browsers to be able to print to PDF -- for reports! To get better control of the print job, do you ever use Adobe InDesign?

It is like falling asleep in a Docker container. You don't know what is outside of the container and you don't know where you are because kubernetes doesn't tell you. Everything is abstracted. This is pretty neat overview th

Were the irc bots able to render javascript or were the bots using a cli lib like python requests? I thought that a client which doesnt run javascript would be a huge red flag.
