I work in Switzerland as a physicist, have friends who work at CERN, and have toured the facilities. Seems like a great place to work! Just make sure you are payed a Swiss not an American salary as things are a tad expensive here in Switzer

Sure-advantages include a great mixture of being near to much of Europe, a short train ride from the alps (I do lots of hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter), very high salaries, no poverty, great universities, intense work ethic, etc

I agree with you there for sure. The more holistic the interview process the better IMO. In fact I'd prefer to see a project in addition to a snippet. You can't tell a decent coder from a great one with a snippet, but you can get a picture
