Golang is actually pretty easy to embed into JS/TS via wasm. See esbuild.

One reason I think Tailwind became so popular is that it makes it much easier to pattern match CSS. I don't think it's a good or bad thing, it's just a thing.

Yeah, and if Rich started making decisions on behalf of Vercel I would move to something else. However I trust that he wouldn't compromise his integrity in that way.

Yeah it works fine with the latest sveltekit. You do need to set { esbuild: target: "es2022" } in the vite config to enable JS decorators but that isn't specific to svelte. These aren't TS decorators, they're ecmasc

We switched to Sveltekit and are much happier. The output is also much faster and leaner.
