No, at least opioids don't work that way. There is no dose so high as to be guaranteed to be fatal -- it's entirely dependent upon an individual person's tolerance. There is effectively no ceiling opioid dose.

Did the doctor just say "Here, have these drugs" or did he/she prescribe the "potentially addictive" medication for a medical issue that should have been treated with that medication? Just not taking medication that

A right-click under NeXTSTEP brought up the full menu, which could also have sub-menus 'torn off' and pinned to the screen. The NeXTSTEP menu system was remarkably advanced and efficient.

In the US, this is often possible (see the Air Traffic Controllers situation), but I think in many countries in Europe, it's not always legal.

You're not alone. I've never felt any effects from smoking cigarettes. I think the effects are incredibly minor compared to those of other substances, to the extent there are effects at all.
