Someone who borrows my poorly stored record collection may get the wrong impression about an artist. Or the book they borrow may be missing packages, making the story not make sense. All of that is irrelevant. I own those copies and am free

No, the problem is information overload. Even without these errors nurses are often overburdened with work and paperwork. Adding another alarm, with a >50% false positive rate is going to make that situation worse. And the nurses will

If before I missasumed, now I don't understand. What is your meaning? What do you mean by art, and different how? I see games as a form of human expression just as writing, movies, painting, etc. They many be newer (video games certain

I would not. High false alarm rates are a problem in all sorts of industry when it comes to warnings and alerts. Too many alerts, or too many false positive alerts cause operators (or nurses in this example) to start ignoring such warnings.

Hard disagree. That's stretching the definition of "failure state" to mean "anything negative". By this logic getting hit is a failure state, taking fall damage is a failure state, another player scoring points is a

Alpha/beta is an arbitrary line in the sand drawn by the developers. Notch could have woken up one day and decided that the state the game was in was final and call the game done. If you weren’t told it was an alpha game you’d have no

I’m not dogging the question, it’s trivially answerable: many games don’t have achievement and are games nonetheless Further, if you remove the achievements from games they continue being games. GTA without achievements is still a game. Rem

All three of those things were added in Sept-Nov of 2021. By January 2021 the game had already sold >1 million copies. It was absolutely a game at that point, ask anyone who played it. Being blatantly unfinished doesn’t matter, it would

Achievements are baubles and trinkets. They are neither necessary nor sufficient for something to be a game. And I don’t know if you’re aware, but a vast amount of Sims players use the game to build and decorate houses and then play out sto

This is going to become navel gazing really fast. “Art with game tropes” implies that “regular games” aren’t art. Which I disagree with. We may not have gotten Shakespeare yet, but writing was an artistic medium before him just as games are

I don't like the foam tips, what works better are silicon sleeves for each AirPods or grippy pads that you can tape on. You don't have to take either off when putting them back in their case.

Yeah, it's a real problem. It's not 4x better since the assumptions don't hold up. Check out Figure 5 from [0] to see what the software is up against. I have no idea how well first party software handles this motion. [0]: ht
