Yep, Babel is transpiling that script tag. This is a cool pattern, useful for testing and whatnot, but nothing new and not recommended for production. Another example of this pattern is Paper.js & PaperScript [0] [0] http://p

I've thought about this a lot. I considered "con" for constants. I don't hate it. It also works as a double entendre-- "con" in Spanish means "with". So the following code could be read as "wi

Alternatively, you were dreaming the whole time. I have _many_ dreams where I "woke up". I'm totally convinced it's real in the dream-- even though I also have telekinesis and can fly.

Can you expand on this, maybe show some examples? I’m familiar with RxJS and have always thought it would be nice to have some syntax sugar for common operations. But I’m not sure how the concept would apply to monads in general.

That's because you cannot style the browser-native dropdown panel with CSS. I don't know offhand if there is any good way to otherwise _emulate_ a dropdown with just CSS (i.e. without JavaScript).

TypeScript checks that the types are correct at compile time. If you are strict, don’t intentionally try to outsmart the type system, and use manual runtime type checking when necessary [0], TypeScript does a good practical job of ensuring
