Obligatory reference to Jim Tcl ( http://jim.tcl.tk/ ), which is a small footprint Tcl interpreter. Probably still bigger than LIL.

Agreed. The same is true for VXLAN which is also in the Kernel and also runs over UDP.

Yup, that's not that special though. All major OS have the TCP/IP stack in the kernel. And many (but not all) OS have at least parts of their GUI stacks in the kernel.

The interesting take-away is the .sys suffix on the filename: Yes, Windows contains a device driver running in Kernel mode that cares about (IIS) HTTP traffic.

Super useful tool once you realize that you need it. I used it extensively with the QEMU sources where all the supported architectures are essentially just ifdefs in the code. There is also an improved `sunifdef` flying around in the interw

Other than tinkering, what's the point of that project? AFAIK you buy those things because you want TI's math software, not because you need some hardware to run your software on it. After all, these are a bit pricey if just loo
