Existence of one echo chamber doesn't disprove existence of another echo chamber. And considering public did not see those old internal debates (there was not even a quote or reference to them in official statement about the firing), g

To be fair, European cities are often terrible for driving, because the road system is poorly designed. And expanding public transport takes precedence. That is also technically achievable in US, but much less politically achievable.

How about: Developers might not want to work to the full extent of their capabilities all the time (especially as they get older) because it has additional costs to them (stress, burnout)? The analogy is a bit stretched, but imo still works

It's funny how some people call for separate IDs for each govt agency and some (different?) people then use such fragmented measures as a proof of govt inefficiency. But I do think people are excessively paranoid / anti government

Imo Switzerland is poor example and free trade cannot be guaranteed for small states in today's world but I guess we will not convince each other in this limited debate . .. Let's agree to disagree.

How will they contribute to NATO then? Your point was that they don't need political alliance to be in a military one, my point is that this is practically impossible. Also good luck with making an army from nothing just in time before

They will not be able to meaningfully contribute to such military alliance - every state having single fighter jet? Or a few tanks? And if they pool money to form an army - how will be the funding determined? Some states will want more defe
