I have just learned how to merge two sorted list because I do believe it is a good thing to know and I appreciate the algorithm. I have no memorized it, just an iterative vs recursive tree traversal.

I usually will look at the input, and then look at my output. If it's not what I expect, I look at the code. Then I'll discover something usually. It's hard to articulate how I do it. I couldn't pass one of those hacker
