The same user has also got a board with touch sliders, consisting of inversely tapering touch areas that allow to compute the touch position along the axis (same for rotary sliders that use three of these in a circle configuration). https:

I also did not understand this complaint. On a Pico, any GPIO can be used for touch (using PIO of course). Example with 23 touch buttons if I counted that correctly: https://github.com/todbot/picotouch

This is very cool. I found shapes that do not work well with the simulation: a very wide and narrow shape (like a needle) oscillates wildly and does not seem to stop or to even slow down.

I’d bet that Starship will have a continuously updated, estimated landing point throughout the whole maneuver anyways. A plane can easily go 6km in about a minute (at a mere 360km/h), so if there was a plane trying to film the descent

Raptor is a full flow staged combustion engine [0], that means that the preburner exhaust is fed into the main combustion chamber. This is more efficient than dumping it separately like it happens on the Falcon 9 engines [1]. The black, so

I think you just invented ullage rockets (if you meant that the thrust of these small rockets should help to settle the fuel at the bottom of the tanks). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullage_motor

Anytime you use a device you need to trust the manufacturer itself is not malicious. The difference between storing and decrypting a database on an internet-connected Apple device and storing it in Apple’s iCloud is minuscule.

I would have to trust Meta on top of Apple for that (and there is no way that you do not have to trust the manufacturers of your devices anyways, imo).
