You know, I can't help but feel that the whole climate change response is similar to ipv6. You keep hearing about adaptions and progress and everyone is afraid to admit we're stuck with ipv4 because the v6 cult is too loud and sca

The few times I tried to contribute, project owners were very hostile and territorial. One thing that should be mentioned is (at least in my humble experience), you need to socialize with the devs somehow first and get them to know and like

This right here. US IC already using pattern of life analysis for target selection, wouldn't surprise me if they decided to use ML with "95% accuracy" to do that. Best outcome: really good slaughterbots become cheap and every

Was just reading about this the other day: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triboluminescence To those blaming it in power infra, I have not see any proof if that, especially before the actual shock.

That's my point, the connector dying is a big deal, so planned obsolescence is easier with usb-c! They should have just included a usb-c adapter. Unlike PC peripherals, phone chargers get plugged/unplugged many times every day. It

Why does everyone like usb-c? It is inferior to lightning. With usb-c, the connector on the device can break or come loose (male), with lightning the male connector is on the cable, so easier to replace and maintain long term!

Is there a realistic path to exploiting this? From what I hear, heap-spraying on 64bit is no longer practical. Is there a predictable object in memory that could be overwritten?

Why not UDP? Less overhead and you can use multicast to expand messaging to machines in a lan. TCP on localhost makes little sense, especially when simple ack's can be implemented in UDP. But even then, I wonder how the segmentation in
